What to Expect on Your Preschool Voyage
At Precious Cargo Preschool and Childcare, we pride ourselves on providing an inclusive, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for all children. Whether your child is returning or starting for the first time, here’s what you can expect:
A Focus on Inclusion
We work closely with professionals such as Willamette ESD to ensure that all children, including those with special needs, receive the support they need. Our program also embraces multiple-language learning, offering materials and communication in English and other languages such as Spanish. If you or your child require information or forms in a different language, just let us know! We are happy to provide translations or additional resources to make sure all families feel welcome and supported. This approach helps children feel secure, valued, and ready to learn, regardless of their background or language.
Developmentally Appropriate Learning
Our curriculum is designed to meet the needs of children at every stage of their development, from infants to preschoolers. Activities are interactive, engaging all five senses and promoting physical, cognitive, and social-emotional growth. We incorporate learning experiences across various domains, including math, science, social studies, fine motor, gross motor, music and art, ensuring that each day is filled with opportunities for exploration and discovery.
Building Strong Relationships
We believe that children thrive in environments where they feel safe and loved. Our teachers work diligently to build trusting relationships with both children and their families. We keep the lines of communication open, encouraging parents to share insights about their child’s needs and experiences. This partnership allows us to create a personalized and supportive learning environment.
